We’re happy to have you as a new patient, and we look forward to meeting you. Below is some helpful information on what to expect to make your first visit stress-free.
Your first visit will usually consist of a dental examination and a teeth cleaning, unless you have a specific dental emergency that needs to be addressed. However, a complete medical history or treatment plan may require an evaluation and a second appointment for a consultation.
During your initial examination, Dr. Kornegay will assess your individual dental care needs and discuss fully any proposed treatment with you, making sure to answer any questions you may have.
To ensure we have everything we need to best treat you, please bring the following with you to your first visit:
- X-rays (if you have them; see below)
- A list of any medications you are currently taking
- Medical history: Download a new patient medical form here.
- Payment information: Download new patient payment information here.
*Please alert us prior to your appointment if you have a medical condition that requires any special care or pre-medication with antibiotics.
If you have recent dental X-rays, please either bring them with you or request that your dentist forward them to our office prior to your first visit. If additional X-rays are necessary, they can be taken at our facility.
